Thor is an 8-year-old bay gelding standing approximately 1.60 m at the withers, who stands out for one thing above all else: his truly wonderful temperament.<\/p>\n

Thor is an absolute sweetheart to handle. He is friendly, curious, people-oriented, and easygoing, and he enjoys attention and affection. He\u2019s the kind of horse you just love to have around.<\/p>\n

For the first few years of his life, Thor was a private and recreational horse. He was ridden primarily on cross-country trails and in the riding arena and was solidly trained at a recreational level.<\/p>\n

After being sold for personal reasons, Thor was taken in by a riding stable owner, where his training was further developed with a stronger focus on Doma Vaquera and Alta Escuela. As a result, he is familiar with elements one wouldn\u2019t necessarily expect from a classic leisure horse: for example, he has mastered the piaffe in hand and can also perform it under the rider with ground assistance. Furthermore, he is already accustomed to a more collected style of work.<\/p>\n

However, we ourselves see Thor\u2019s future less in demanding training or competitive sports and more as a versatile, well-ridden leisure partner. That\u2019s why we\u2019re currently working with him in a deliberately loose, forward-and-downward-oriented, and relaxed riding style, giving him more freedom in his neck and frame. Thor really enjoys this type of work and appears content, relaxed, and cooperative.<\/p>\n

It is precisely his diverse experiences that make him such an interesting horse: Thor is familiar with both relaxed recreational riding and trail riding, as well as more advanced exercises and collection. You don\u2019t have to make the most of these skills\u2014but you can, if you enjoy it.<\/p>\n

For Thor, we\u2019re looking for someone who, above all, appreciates his wonderful personality and is seeking a loving, versatile, and people-oriented partner. Whether it\u2019s relaxed trail rides, varied work in the arena, ground work, or the occasional foray into the world of classical dressage\u2014Thor has a lot to offer and, above all, is one thing: a truly likable guy with a huge heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
