Xantos—our Spanish gentleman on four hooves—is sadly looking for a new home. And not because he has done anything wrong. On the contrary: for health reasons, his current owner is unfortunately no longer able to care for him properly—and wants to find a home for her soulmate horse that will give him just as much love as she has. 🥹

🐴 Who is Xantos?

Born 07.09.2018

💡Approximately 164 cm tall.

An (almost) genuine PRE – both parents are registered with the ANCCE, but as his mother is not licensed, he was unfortunately denied the official title. He doesn’t care – he knows how noble he is anyway.

Absolutely people-oriented, honest, and simply a heart on four legs.💛

🧠 Character

Intelligent, sensitive, always eager to please.

A horse that you have to “read” – and once you understand him, you gain a loyal partner for life.

A bit of a clown, a bit of a charmer, a lot of heart. 🥰

🐎 Attitude

Xantos is absolutely not a horse for box stabling with a daily view of the manure heap from the window.
He needs:

✅ daily grazing or pasture access
✅ Fellow creatures to play and chat with
✅ People who challenge him mentally and physically (but with kindness, not harshness)

In a barn without access to the outdoors, he would simply become sad—and he doesn’t deserve that.

⚠ Honesty is the best policy

Because it’s part of the job: Due to illness, the owner wasn’t able to groom him much this year. As a result, Xantos has become a little scruffy—his mane is currently more “Ibiza style after the storm” than “Spanish braided dream.” 😅 With a fly blanket and good care, however, this will certainly be under control again soon.

💛 What we want:

A place where Xantos can truly feel at home. Where he is not the “fifth horse in the stable,” but a valued partner. The owner only wants to give him away to the right person—someone with intelligence, heart, and compassion.
